We`v been hearing a buzz which says that filmmaker Balki has big plans for his upcoming film. Sources say that the noted director is considering Hollywood top actress Meryl Streep to cast opposite our Bollywood`s legendary icon Amitabh Bachchan. And for that he’s currently busy finalising the script. But if his plan does not work then Balki has alternative idea too, to cast the yesteryear beauty Sridevi instead of Meryl.
Although our Big B plans on no qualms of roping the international actress. In fact his only concern is to make sure that the script justifies the casting.
Sources tell that Balki is busy preparing two scripts. One of them is a cross-cultural love story. The other is a desi romance about two people past the supposedly permissible age of romance. On the other hand Big B told that Balki has not yet spoken about the project and they are soon planning to meet and discuss the matter.

Bollywood can’t seem to get over its hangover of The Singh just yet. Lets take a look at all the B-Town A listers who are following the trend and going the Punjabi way.

First came the real bad boy of Bollywood, playing a Sikh Army Officer, very flaky performance I must say. The movie tanked needless to say.

Sometime went by and the news came in that the real chotte Nawab was doing a double act as a Sikh from the sixties and the flamboyant NRI in London.

The movie was oh so successful, despite having Deepika Padukone as the lead herione.

Never mind now we move on to the next two stars who are going to make their Sikh debuts soon.

First is the latest Chocolate boy of tinseltown, Ranbir Kapoor, in and as YashRaj’s Rocket Singh.

Shaken? Relax, this isn’t half the shock you’re entitled for, the next bollywood celeb playing a Sikh is actually a woman, yes and she’d be Rani Mukherjee? Not amused? Likewise!

The game is said to be styled just like Max Payne, FXlabs surely knows what kind of a fan following that game has in India. But as the game is being claimed as the first 3d game developed in India, it sure looks 3d, and cool too, but it’s said to be buggy, well they tried though.

We surely hope it to start a 3d game revolution in India now, considering the fact that Indian Film Industry is so massive, with enough money to spawn a gaming industry in a blink of an eye.

Aamir is going to do Guy Pearce’s role. Who else could better suit the role in Bollywood anyway. You might be tickled by this but Jiah Khan, yes that half covered lass from Nishabd (remember that stupid RGV film with Amitabh, no?, never mind, it was a wasted flick anyway), yes Jiah, is rumoured to do the role portrayed by Carrie-Anne-Moss (Trinity), and she has done some stunts in the film for the same, how stupid it sounds, Memento’s sequel required stunts? I hope it’s not a line to line copy, because then stunts won’t fit in anywhere in the film.

The best part I say is that it has given some relief to the wounds that Indian Cricket Team’s ODI series loss caused in England yesterday. Things will be better, hopefully. I hope Hockey gets back it’s glorious position back in every Indian’s heart, and people participate in it with full heart, giving it the deserved attention that it should get being our national game. But, we want the Twenty20 Cup, beginning later this month, anyway :D .
