Toyota to bless India with Fortuner SUV
->

The motoring giant has announced that it’s going to launch the 3.0L diesel engine powered Fortuner SUV in India, somewhere around September. The price is going to be set somewhere around 20 lakh. The SUV is going to compete with Honda’s CRV, Ford’s Endeavour, and Mitsubishi’s Pajero, and the recently launched Nissan X-Trail.
The SUV is going to be manufactured at the Toyota Kirloskar factory at Bidadi near Bangalore.

Toyota Fortune looks massively built. But the prices Rs 20 looks too high for a SUV buyer in India. Even the extremely handsome Ford Endeavour costs around Rs 15 lakh. i think Toyota should bring down the prices if it has to compete in India.
